We are currently looking for a hybrid remote Procurement Manager to take on a vital role in supporting our Procurement team and existing commercial, municipal, local, state, and federal subcontracting activities.What you will do:As a Procurement Manager, you will assume a key role in the department ensuring the efficient execution of the entire procurement lifecycle from identifying appropriate vendors through purchase order closeout. This position will require independent involvement in large, complex procurements.Specific responsibilities include:Working closely with Project Managers and technical staff to support project needs, while simultaneously ensuring compliance with contract requirements and applicable laws and regulations related to commercial, state, and federal (FAR & DFARS) contracting.Properly maintaining highest ethical standards.Fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Mentoring early career Procurement team members.Identifying, mitigating, and tackling complex and high-risk procurement actions.Being an expert resource on the Procurement Policy.Training others on procurement related topics.Staying up to date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect procurement activities and sharing any changes with the team.Finding efficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.Conducting audits.What you will need:A Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree and/or NCMA certification desired.5-10 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibility.Experience in using and developing various subcontract service order types.Experience with all contract types (FFP, T&M, CP, etc.)Proficiency in purchase and acquisition strategies for private and public sector clients.Demonstrated knowledge of the FAR and Federal contracting vehicles.Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially in Word and Excel.What We Offer:401k with Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Low deductible health coverage for you and your family through Medical, Dental and Vision plansGenerous paid-time-off policyProfessional DevelopmentHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee wellness programEA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC
