Director of Global Indirect Procurement - Technology

will own global leadership for Ecolab's Indirect Technology (Software, Services, Network, Hardware) procurement category and drive high impact initiatives across assigned spend, key global categories and strategic supplier relationships to deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, working capital, operational improvements, and risk mitigation initiatives through internal collaboration with stakeholders and enabling a high performing technology sourcing team. (hybrid work model).What's in it For YouThe opportunity to take on some of the world's most meaningful challenges, helping customers achieve clean water, safe food, and healthy environments.The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth.The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best.What You Will DoOwn responsibility for total delivered cost (TDC), Technology category management, supplier business value, and sourcing wave plans.Develop and drive the overall strategy of respective categories in alignment with Ecolab, functional, and business unit objectives.Lead regular alignment sessions for the global procurement team across Ecolab's key Regions and Markets (Europe, Greater China, SE Asia, ANZ, IMEA, and LATAM).Lead and develop strategic relationships at the executive level within Ecolab and with key suppliers.Develop global sourcing strategies and drive execution within assigned indirect area using TDC Sourcing Principles.Establish and update processes and metrics to deliver optimum Total Delivered Cost (TDC) in order to maximize savings.Maintain awareness of global macro-economic factors that directly impact Ecolab's procurement costs.Understand Technology roadmaps and strategies across the Ecolab Enterprise Technology Services group, and other business-led technology strategies, ensuring goal alignment across these key stakeholder teams.Report out regularly on core procurement metrics, project progress, and open issues. Drive continuous improvement of results measures across savings and productivity.Attract, hire, and retain top sourcing talent to ensure appropriate succession planning.Coach, mentor, and develop direct/indirect reports within assigned global procurement team to improve skills, execution, and results.Lead by example the Ecolab and Global Supply Chain Safety initiatives.Availability for virtual meetings outside of normal US working hours to support global time zone differences.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Related Field (Supply Chain, Business, Technical, Finance).10 years of relevant procurement experience including leadership of indirect teams.5 years technology sourcing experience, leading sourcing and negotiations for complex enterprise-wide contracts in the following domains: ERP, Cloud Services, SaaS, Network, Hardware, and Services Delivery models.Demonstrated experience in delivering best in class sourcing outcomes for enterprise technology solutions - Savings, IT Security, SaaS terms and conditions, pricing environment, benchmarking, and developing technologies.No immigration sponsorship available.Preferred QualificationsMBA preferred.Previous experience balancing priorities of C-suite stakeholders.Previous relevant experience in a global (Fortune 500 or similar) multi-national company with operations in all major world markets and regions.Strategic thinking and business-oriented leader who has demonstrated the ability to understand the goals of a global business and to identify and execute on company-wide opportunities.Outstanding track record of leading complex projects with diverse and conflicting demands/expectations.Strong skills developing and educating subordinates and peers.Good organizational and planning skills: eye for details together with high-level perspective.Strong financial acumen; written, verbal, and presentation skills.
