The Regional Vice President (RVP) is responsible for achieving regional growth goals in both revenue and gross profit contribution, including all shared, inside, key, and strategic accounts. The RVP will be responsible for daily oversight and performance of an entire sales region within alphabroder. He or she will motivate the region to sell products and services through effective management of sales incentive programs, coaching, career development and reporting mechanisms. The RVP will be directly responsible for training and supervising groups of 10-15 Outside Sales Account Executives, located within a region.In addition, the RVP will frequently collaborate with the region’s Regional Inside Sales Manager, (A position that reports directly to VP of Inside Sales) to ensure that synergy between Outside & Inside Sales is established.This position is responsible for all sales within the region including ab soft goods, Prime hard goods, Single Invoice Model (SIM) decoration, and Prime Source Abroad (SA). The RVP will achieve their sales objectives & GP targets through in-field monitoring, data analysis, coaching, and motivating their staff to ensure exceptional execution of sales strategies.Essential Responsibilities:

Meet and/or exceed defined revenue/ gross profit goals for the region in soft goods, Prime hard goods, SIM, and SA.Develop plans and strategies for driving new business and achieving the company’s sales goals.Monitor the success of both the employee experience (EX) and customer experience (CX) at ab/prime.Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions including a weekly report to the SVP of Sales.Perform frequent proactive outreach activities to customers throughout the region, both by phone, video conferencing and in person visits.Create a culture of success that fosters business growth, collaboration, and goal achievement.Manage the sales team through frequent in-field travel, teleconferencing and written communication.Conduct monthly “1:1’s” with Outside Sales Account Executives - either in person or via teleconferencing.Yearly employee performance appraisals, - utilizing ‘1:1’s’ as the benchmark.Responsible for managing regional sales budget, including sample, T&E, and trade show budgets, along with regional fixed costs.Set clear expectations for sales team performance.Hire and develop sales staff through virtual & or in-person learning.Define and coordinate virtual sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.Manage customer expectations, contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring ab/prime’s NPS (Net Promoter Score) score outpaces the competition.Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required.Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.Compile information and data related to customer and sales representative interactions.Work closely with the marketing function to establish successful support, channel and partner programs.Manage key customer relationships.Work cross-functionally and understand how to accomplish goals within the organization. Develop relationships across the organization to facilitate communication and achievement of goals.Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners to develop key relationships.Attend trade shows, industry events and customer events as necessary.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.3+ years of proven leadership skills either in management and/or business development; growing an installed base, delivering sales innovation and/or sales skills development for a team or business.Preferred wholesale or distribution-related experience with knowledge and/or practical experience in one or more of the following areas: Promotional Products, Screen-printing, Embroidery, and Corporate/Educational Uniform Programs.Thorough knowledge of alphabroder value proposition, product offering, competitive landscape, and sales cycle.Proven/demonstrated ability to work independently and/or in a team/matrix environment, handle multiple demands and continually changing priorities.Demonstrated excellent skills in planning, time management, decision making, presenting, problem solving, conflict resolution and communications.Proven/demonstrated ability to present and administer role playing in a group setting.Ability to work effectively with other functional areas of the business to exceed customer expectations.Demonstrates high level reasoning skills with the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a number of variables in situations of limited standardization.
