A law firm is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CFIUS and International Trade/Export Controls Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Committee on Foreign Investments (CFIUS), U.S. export controls, and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Experience supporting a team in these areas is essential. The position requires a proactive individual with 2-4 years of relevant experience, who is admitted and actively Barred in the state.Key Responsibilities:

Provide legal advice and support on matters related to CFIUS, including navigating the review process for foreign investments in the U.S.Advise clients on compliance with U.S. export controls and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Assist in managing and supporting an active team handling international trade regulatory and compliance matters.Develop and implement strategies for clients to ensure adherence to export controls and ITAR requirements.Conduct research and analysis on international trade regulations and related legal issues.Represent clients in interactions with regulatory agencies concerning export controls and CFIUS reviews.Stay current on developments and changes in international trade regulations and provide updates to clients and team members.Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in international trade regulatory, compliance, and enforcement.Experience with CFIUS processes and regulations.Knowledge of U.S. export controls and ITAR.General knowledge of the Defense Priorities & Allocation System (DPAS) is preferred.Proven ability to support and contribute to an active legal team.Must be admitted and actively Barred in the state of Georgia.Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic background with relevant coursework or experience in international trade and export controls.Certifications:

Admitted to practice law in the state of Georgia.Skills:

In-depth understanding of CFIUS, U.S. export controls, and ITAR regulations.Ability to handle complex regulatory and compliance issues with precision.Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proven experience supporting a legal team in high-stakes regulatory matters.Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
