The ideal candidate will have experience in family law, with the ability to draft legal documents, appear in court, and interact professionally with clients and other legal professionals. The position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including CLE opportunities, memberships, paid health insurance, generous PTO, and holidays.Duties:Draft pleadings, orders, and discovery documents related to family law cases.Appear in court frequently, both via Zoom and in person, as required.Provide legal representation and advice in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support.Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals with professionalism and courtesy.Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely and accurate completion of all legal tasks.Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal memoranda and reports.Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.Maintain effective communication with clients to keep them informed of case progress and developments.Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Experience in family law (1-7 years, depending on junior or senior level).Ability to draft pleadings, orders, and discovery documents.Comfort with frequent court appearances, including Zoom and in-person hearings.Strong client interaction and communication skills.Effective organizational and time management abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Texas State Bar.Skills:Proficiency in handling family law cases and legal procedures.Strong drafting and litigation skills.Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities efficiently.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Professionalism and the ability to interact appropriately with clients and other professionals.
