New York Life has been recognized as one of the “World’s Most Admired Companies” by Fortune Magazine for 2019.Responsibilities:Develop and employ marketing and business plans to grow your client base.Deliver responsible business planning, insurance, and retirement education via options for high-quality life insurance, fixed annuities, securities, long-term care insurance, and other related products.Present an array of potential solutions using our competitive suite of products and services to help clients identify and achieve their financial goals.Hone your knowledge and professional skills by successfully completing the New York Life training curriculum.Secure optional licenses for selling securities and investments products for wealth management and advanced planning.What is expected of our Agents?Ability to understand the needs and financial concerns of clients.Ability to educate clients on how to plan ahead for the future financially so that they are prepared for unfortunate life events/circumstances they may encounter.Promote customized ways for clients to achieve their long-term financial goals.Cultivating relationships, with a view to helping every family member or individual pursue financial security.Ability to build an insurance and financial practice through establishing professional networks and prospecting for new clients.Providing compassion and guidance to clients when unfortunate life circumstances arise.Having a clear focus on developing and maintaining long-term bonds with clients, resulting in trust and continuity of community over time.Qualifications:Must be able to engage your community and tap personal networks to identify contacts.Must possess uncompromising integrity.Strong business acumen.Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively share complex ideas.Experience in sales and implementing growth strategies a plus.Qualities that we look for in our Agents:Sales experience preferred – an enterprising mindset.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Desire to help others.Strong business acumen.Perseverance in the face of a challenge.Ability to engage your community and leverage personal networks/contacts.We’ve built a strong company, one that puts its clients first. $60,000 - $100,000 yearly.
