Our client, a leading solar and energy storage developer, is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join their team.
Responsibilities:Execute and structure financing transactions (construct and term debt, tax equity)Develop financial models for renewable energy projects (underwriting analysis, internal/external counsel, technical, and development teams)Manage due diligence processesCoordinate deliverables and reporting across cross-functional teams in support of financial close.Communicate professionally with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including C-level executives, financing institutions, and investors.Support the coordination of amendments, consents and other requests on executed financing agreements.Work collaboratively across the business to provide financing guidance and support, including potential project acquisitions and offtake pricing with Commercial teams.Qualifications:2-4+ years of experience with a focus on project finance1+ years of Renewable Energy experienceExperience in project finance and tax equity transactions.Passion for renewables and a keen interest in being a part of the climate change solution.Proven transaction experience in the energy, infrastructure or real estate sectors, preferably at a developer, operating company, private equity, management consulting, or bankingStrong financial modeling skills and ability to gather, organize, and draw conclusions from dataLocation:Washington D.C.Compensation:
$120,000-135,000 + bonus
