We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Director to direct and administer the Human Resources function at the facility continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Minimum RequirementsHuman Resources Directors must have the following:

Associate’s degree in human resources management or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.

2-3 years general experience in the HR field.

Long term or health care industry experience required.

Knowledge of federal and state laws.

Experience with union agreements.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Energetic, professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.

Excellent communication & customer service skills.

ResponsibilitiesAs a Human Resources Director, you will:

Welcome new hires and lead orientation.

Facilitate effective associate relations within the facility.

Manage and maintain confidential employee files.

Administer and interpret Human Resources policies and procedures.

Track associate leave of absence.

Assist in the administration of employee benefits.

Assist in creating and coordinating recognition programs or events.

Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

Prepare reports as needed.

Monitor and respond to unemployment and Workman’s Compensation claims.

Audit, enter new hires, terminations, promotions, increases, perform edits in payroll and submit for processing.
