Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems.What You Can ExpectPerform Software/Firmware design, development and debugging. Design and develop low level firmware and software for platform bootup and initialization for Marvell Embedded SoCs. Work closely with software/hardware engineers to develop and maintain the TIM library, which is used during platform boot up and firmware update for existing Marvell SoCs. Port and enhance TIM library to be aligned with the latest boot sequence designed for the upcoming Marvell SoCs. Design and develop test cases. Run test cases under test framework. Debug and validate the TIM library according to the test results. Release TIM library and resolve the issues reported back from Marvell internal teams regarding the library. Participate in designing and developing the boot-up, platform initialization, and firmware update flows for Marvell SoC. Construct suitable cases to test the boot-up, platform initialization, and firmware update flows. Evaluate test results, root-cause the failures, and provide solutions/feedbacks. Telecommuting is permitted.What We're Looking ForMaster's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.Must have work/internship experience or completed graduate coursework/research in each of the following:Software engineering and software design.Embedded system architecture and programming.Programming languages Embedded C or Python.ARM Assembly.Firmware/software development for ARM core based embedded system.Using development environment for embedded system such as GNU toolchain for ARM.Using version control tool for Linux such as Git or Gerrit.Using a test framework.Additional Compensation and Benefit ElementsWith competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity.
