Staff Accountant

to join our finance team.Salary/Hourly Rate:$80k+ (DOE)Position Overview:This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. As a Staff Accountant, you will work closely with various departments to support day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to make an impact in the entertainment industry.Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and collections.

Manage and reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

Support the preparation of tax filings, audits, and compliance reports.

Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.

Participate in special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.

Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

1 - 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment industry or a related field.

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
