My client is committed to delivering high-quality projects that address the growing need for sustainable water infrastructure solutions across Texas and the surrounding regions. With an extensive backlog of work in the region and plans for expansion across the state, you will be leading a successful division to new heights.Position OverviewYou will oversee all operational aspects of the company, focusing on project execution, financial performance, and strategic growth. This role requires extensive experience in the water/wastewater construction industry, a proven track record of operational leadership, and the ability to drive profitability across all projects and teams.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

Develop and implement a clear operational strategy that aligns with the company’s long-term goals.Lead initiatives to drive growth and improve operational efficiencies within the Texas water/wastewater market.Operate with a hands-on leadership style, ensuring a strong presence both in the office and on project sites.

Operational Management

Manage daily operations to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and effectively.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained.Meet or exceed performance targets, ensuring the company’s reputation for excellence is upheld.

Financial Management

Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to drive profitability.Implement strategies to control costs and understand the financial components that impact project outcomes.Ensure strong financial controls and risk management practices are in place to protect the company’s financial interests.

Business Development

Identify new business opportunities to expand the company’s footprint in the water/wastewater sector.Utilize industry connections and relationships to secure new projects and partnerships.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and other stakeholders.

Project Oversight

Ensure large-scale water/wastewater projects are executed successfully, meeting quality and safety standards.Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize project timelines and efficiency.Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential project challenges.

Talent Management

Lead efforts to attract, retain, and develop top industry talent.Foster a high-performance culture by mentoring and supporting team members’ professional development.Develop and implement a succession plan to ensure continuity and leadership stability.

QualificationsExtensive experience in water/wastewater construction at a senior management level.Proven track record in managing complex projects, driving operational excellence, and achieving financial goals.Industry connections, preferably in the Texas W/WW market.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to leadership and project management.
