We are currently looking for a Loan Servicing Specialist to set up and service CRE, C&I, and SBA loans to small and medium-sized businesses. This position is based in our new corporate headquarters in Fort Lee, NJ, minutes from the George Washington Bridge.
As a Loan Processing Specialist, you will:Prepare loan documents, disbursements, and bookingsEnter new loans into the systemEnsure mortgages are recorded and all required filings are made timelyReview bookings, disbursement entries, and initial tickler inputsPrepare daily reports and reconciliations, including clearing/settlement accountsMaintain legal balances for non-accrual accountsPrepare monthly SBA 1502 reportsMonitor SBA portfolio for timely wrap-upsUpdate and submit semi-annual reports to SBAPrepare pre- and post-purchase packages to submit to the SBAMonitor, review and update all tickler itemsPrepare annual notification letters to borrowers requesting financial updates
Your Qualifications:The successful candidate will have:At least two years of experience servicing commercial loansUnderstanding and ability to participate in the loan closing processThe ability to move between multiple projects to keep them all movingStrong detail orientation and organizational skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Advanced Excel), Jack Henry, and LaserProInterpersonal skills that enable you to make personal connectionsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to express yourself clearlyA college degree or equivalent experienceAbility and willingness to travel locally as needed
