As an executive, the Branch Manager is responsible for the overall success and day-to-day operations of the branch business unit. The Branch Manager should lead and empower his/her team to operate at their highest level in order to achieve all Branch success metrics including:SafetyQuality & Client SatisfactionProductivityGrowth & ProfitabilityThe Branch Manager is responsible for the financial success of the branch and will participate in the development and management of annual operational budgets, strategic sales plans, customer relationship management, and labor management and efficiency. The Branch Manager reports to the Maintenance Division Manager.To be successful in this role, you must:

Essential Functions:Responsible for demonstrating and living out the company fundamentals, core values, and cultureModels and enforces all company policies and proceduresMonitors, mentors, and leads branch team to balance company goals with team satisfactionOversee and monitor daily production of landscape maintenance and enhancements, turf and ornamental applications, and irrigationDevelop delivery schedule deadlines and oversee the development of production planning and schedule creationEstablish staffing levels for each month based upon needEnsure that jobs are completed according to contract and within budgetDirect supervisor of Account Managers and oversee all customer accountsManage key relationships with clients in support of Account ManagersWork with Business Development to identify and achieve new contract maintenance sales goalsWorks with Account Managers to ensure that Enhancement Pipelines and Sales Goals are being achievedWork with AM team to achieve renewal and retention goalsWork with Production Managers to monitor safety, quality, and productivity on an ongoing basisBudget control of hours (including overtime) and productivity of production personnelBudget control of departmental expensesOversee safety, training, and DOT complianceManage relationships with vendorsParticipate in establishing and maintaining the branch’s annual budgetMonitor and communicate monthly financial performanceDeliver timely and accurate financial reports and production data (monthly) to the Executive TeamAdminister preventive maintenance program and manage equipment repair and replacementCommunicate with Human Resources to address corrective and disciplinary actions, personnel staffing needs, and training needsConduct performance appraisals and compensation reviews coordinated with Human ResourcesTo perform the job successfully, the individual will demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.Customer Service - Manages difficult client/customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs, solicits customer feedback to improve service, responds to requests for service and assistance, and meets commitments.Planning/Organization - Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.Quality Control - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness, monitors work to ensure quality, and provides feedback to improve performance.Productivity - Meets productivity standards and completes work in an efficient, timely manner.Adaptability - Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands, and deals with frequent change, delays, and/or unexpected events.Dependability – Is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management directions, and absorbs feedback to improve performance.Safety and Security - Implements safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly to reduce risk and protect the workforce.
