This position is contingent on contract award.The United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) is the theater army assigned as the Army Service Component Command (ASCC) to the United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). USARPAC provides continuous oversight and control of Army operations throughout the Indo-Pacific theater and has jurisdiction over Army forces serving in Hawaii (HI), Alaska (AK), the Pacific Ocean, South Korea, and Japan.Position Summary:Responsible for intelligence analytic production, maintaining common situational/battlespace awareness of ground order of battle, CIP/COP, and inputs to JIPOE. Incorporate intelligence reporting from across the INTs and provide evaluation, feedback, and inputs to collection requirements for refining intelligence collection to address current gaps. Research, draft, coordinate, publish predictive finished all-source analysis products on foreign military capabilities, order of battle, and I&W to inform senior government leadership and drive operations. Collaborate across theater service components and INDOPACOM J2 to ensure USARPAC and theater requirements and priorities are communicated and met.Primary Position Duties:Analyze the portfolio’s functional and system issues and propose solutions to requirements.Communicate guidance to the field to ensure compliance with policy.Lead solution finding for issues involving systems acquisition, integration, and installation.Draft and implement portfolio-related unit deployment policy, manpower authorizations, and requirements in accordance with regulations to maximize combat readiness.Participate in unit site visits and ISR system installations/upgrades as tasked.Draft recommendations for unit requirements and policy inputs regarding the best use of assets to support MCIA requirements.Prepare position papers, background briefs, assessments, and fact sheets as required by staff or leadership.Position Requirements and Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years’ experience.In-depth experience working with manpower authorization and readiness issues.More than two years’ experience engaged in operational readiness activities.Good understanding of the USMC Targeting Enterprise.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exemplary attention to detail and articulate communications and staffing skills.Preferred Position Qualifications:Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel and managing databases.Experience working in/around mission sets including Air Operations Centers, MASINT, and/or GEOINT.Familiarity with planning, programming, budget, and execution processes.Experience with intelligence system acquisition, operations, and sustainment.Bachelor's degree or equivalent education; or proven relevant experience greater than 15 years in lieu of a degree.This full-time position is Monday through Friday and operates in a professional office environment.
