If you are passionate about what you do and having fun while doing it, tired of rigid and strict work environments, and would like to work in a non-bureaucratic startup cultural environment, WorldLink may be the place for you.We are looking for a Business Planning & EPMO Manager II to join our team.Role and Responsibilities:Project Management:Determine and define project scope and objectives.Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively.Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.Track project costs to meet budget.Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan, assign tasks, and communicate expected deliverables.Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.Lead between 1-3 projects at any given time depending on business needs and project complexity.Business Planning and Strategic Initiatives:Supervise Critical Business Planning cycles for the organization.Lead Executive discussions providing strategic input and decision-making.Lead/control meetings and deliverables through effective analytical and storytelling skills.Develop advanced decision-making analysis, frameworks & Impact deliverables.Facilitate key support groups' development of their strategies based on guidance.Manage Executive Communications for Top Management by developing best in class presentation and communication materials.Required Experience and Education:6+ years of strategic initiative/project management and related experience (8+ strongly preferred).3+ years’ experience as a strategic and problem-solving thinker who can turn strategic objectives into practical execution plans (experience working in operational consulting or internal strategy/planning roles preferred).Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.Extensive knowledge of, and/or success in operations roles within a professional services firm or corporate environment, helping companies to identify, clarify and resolve complex issues critical to their strategic and operating success.Necessary Skills and Attributes:Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.Proven ability to solve problems creatively – Out-of-the-box thinker.Excellent analytical skills.Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.Agile and adaptable leader who is comfortable shifting focus/direction as business needs change.Expert in PowerPoint/Excel (experience with developing complex macros and automation in Excel).Strong presentation skills demonstrating the ability for effective storytelling.Strong verbal and written communication skills for establishing relationships cross-functionally and cross-division.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a contract employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
