Warehouse Manager

at our Brillion, WI location. We are looking for a highly motivated leader who enjoys problem solving, coaching team members to achieve their best, and is passionate about supply chain process. The Warehouse Manager has a broad scope encompassing strategic planning, high-level management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the alignment of warehouse operations with the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory levels through proper tracking and record-keeping. Implement and maintain inventory control systems.Hire, train, and supervise warehouse employees; address and resolve employee conflicts and/or concerns.Assign tasks, set performance goals, and provide regular feedback to team.Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse leaders and associates.Maintain a safe and productive work environment.Optimize the layout of the warehouse for efficient storage, picking, and packing. Recommend shelving and racking systems as needed.Oversee the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and completed timely. Coordinate with carriers and suppliers, optimizing freight costs.Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that all products meet established standards. Follow inspection requirements.Ensure that warehouse equipment and machinery are in good working condition.Manage and control warehouse operating expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource utilization.Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities. Generate reports and provide data analysis as required.Work closely with senior management, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align warehouse operations with business objectives.Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate and enhance warehouse management systems.Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms and conditions when necessary. Comply with national agreements when required.Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the warehouse's performance and efficiency. Continuously improve processes to meet or exceed KPIs.Address and resolve any operational issues, such as inventory discrepancies, delivery delays, or equipment malfunctions.Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations, including safety, environmental, and labor laws.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.Strong leadership and management skills.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse management systems (WMS) (experience working within SCE/ preferred).Familiarity with health and safety regulations.Must have the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with business unit leaders throughout the organization.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Required Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field or equivalent experience.8-10+ years of Warehouse experience including processes, systems, training and leadership.4 years of leadership experience.Work Environment:This job operates in a warehouse and office environment. This role routinely uses equipment such as computers, scanners, forklifts (occasionally), utility knives, and tape guns.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is sitting at their desk and standing throughout the day. The employee will need to have the ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
