The Endpoint Compliance Data Analyst will report to the Director of Enterprise Services and will be responsible for supporting TNS corporate workstation patch compliance efforts.Responsibilities

The Endpoint Compliance Data Analyst will have an understanding of the scope and saturation levels of patch compliance and upcoming compliance needs for identified software and operating systems on the global corporate endpoint environment. Produce monthly reports of saturation levels across identified areas with an emphasis on automation. Work closely with Desktop Engineers and Systems Administration and Support technicians in remote offices on endpoints requiring manual patch remediation.Identifying available patches for in-scope software and operating systems, such as Microsoft and Adobe.Manual remediation of patches on workstations globally that are unable to be updated via automated methods (Intune/Trend Apex/Jamf).Patch compliance assessment and reporting to Enterprise Services Management.Coordinating patch management remediation efforts with local on-site technical staff when remote remediation efforts are not possible.Keep up to date on the latest operating system and application software patches and errata.Document activities and provide documentation related to Endpoints.Possesses an understanding of Active Directory, SCCM, and Windows applications on the enterprise.Assists the Desktop Engineering Group as needed with testing of patch remediation scripts.Understanding of Windows Powershell scripting or Python desired to gather data from data warehouses, e.g. Intune.Troubleshoots and remediates Windows security threats as reported through corporate monitoring mechanisms.Provide excellent customer service experience with internal customers.Assist level 1 desktop support for Reston helpdesk when needed.Qualifications

Understanding of Windows 10’s configuration, features, and functions.Ability to document technical tasks and write clearly and concisely.Understanding and application of troubleshooting concepts.Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies related to workstation tasks and reporting requirements.1-2 years’ experience troubleshooting Windows 10 in an Active Directory environment.Desired 1-2 years’ experience with a scripting language.Familiarity with MS Excel and Spreadsheets.If you are passionate about technology, love personal growth and opportunity, come see what TNS is all about!TNS is an equal opportunity employer.
