Benefits Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Benefits Specialist for a 4-month contract position that could extend in San Rafael, CA. This is for a transportation and logistics company with an excellent reputation.Responsibilities:Managing an organization's employee benefits programs and retirement plans.Ensuring employees are covered by insurance, and processing enrollments, changes, and terminations.Providing information about available options, and explaining tax and legal information.Helping with benefits claim issues and plan changes, and assisting with new-hire orientations.Overseeing compensation policies, designing benefits packages, and managing employee training programs.Qualifications:Benefits specialists need to have knowledge of HR and business management, analytical thinking, and industry experience. They also need to have in-depth knowledge of federal and state laws, and verbal communication skills.Employment Type:
