You are an experienced Human Resources (HR) leader equipped with a sophisticated understanding of Employee Relations, an ability to conduct complex investigations, and think globally. As a proactive and strategic thinker, you are adept at steering a dynamic team within a fast-paced environment, transforming challenges into opportunities to enhance workplace engagement. You are skilled at designing, implementing, and managing programs and policies that promote a positive organizational culture and mitigate risk.What You'll Do

As the Global Head of Employee Relations, you will lead the optimization and execution of our company's global employee relations strategy, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. As a subject matter expert on employee relations and compliance matters, you will guide your teams through complex cases.You'll spearhead initiatives to redesign employee relations structures and processes where necessary, aligning them with modern best practices. By integrating innovative and scalable ER practices, you will provide strategic direction, guidance, and consultation to internal HR teams, Business Unit leaders, and cross-functional partners.Your role will be pivotal in resolving complex employee relations issues by overseeing a team which will conduct thorough and objective investigations, as well as providing guidance on performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution to ensure policy compliance and mitigate risks.Additionally, you will advocate for and embed Cisco's conscious culture and values in the employee experience to maintain our ethos of an inclusive, supportive, and ethical workplace.Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; a master's degree or JD is highly preferred15+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in an Employee Relations leadership roleIn-depth knowledge of international labor laws, compliance requirements, and cultural practicesExperience working HR in a global, Fortune 500 Company or similar, large matrixed organizationExtensive experience supporting multiple organizations with populations of more than 5000 employeesDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and maintain confidentialityExtensive experience identifying and driving people solutions aligned to business strategyExtensive experience working effectively in a team environment and building strong relationships across all levels of the organizationExtensive capacity and experience influencing executives and other business leadersCourage to propose solutions others are reluctant to address and act in the face of resistance in the best interests of the businessDesired Skills
