Sr Staff Accountant . This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and administration function of WellSky to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in the general ledger. The primary focus for the Sr. Staff Accountant is managing and performing various accounting processes, technical accounting and completion of ad-hoc projects.A day in the life!You will be responsible for the following:Maintaining selected general ledger accounts and ensuring assigned balance sheet and key income statement accounts are reconciled on a monthly basisCompleting technical accounting calculations such as software development capitalization, deferred contract costs and right of use assetsIntegrating various accounting functions associated with the integration of recently acquired businessesExecuting the monthly close process in accordance with WellSky's policiesDriving process improvement by leveraging ERP systemAssisting external auditors with audit requests, preparing various audit schedules, and resolving any issues identified during the testing proceduresWorking on ad-hoc and technical accounting-related projectsDo you have what it takes?Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field4-6 years related work experience or 2-3 years' experience from a Big Four global accounting firmDo you stand above the rest?Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Oracle softwareExperience with Capitalize software#LI-OF1#LI-HYBRIDAdditional job expectations applicable to this position include:Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as neededWorking in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and proceduresPerforming other responsibilities as assignedWellSky is where independent thinking and collaboration come together to create an authentic culture.
