Territory Manager:A leading distributor of HVACR equipment, parts, and supplies is seeking a Territory Manager to join the team. With a strong presence across North America, our company has grown significantly, boasting numerous branches and distribution centers, and achieving substantial annual sales.

We collaborate with top global companies to provide contractors with high-quality products, technical expertise, and exceptional service.

As we expand our operations, we are opening new branch locations in key areas to better serve the region. The Territory Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth and profitability by expanding sales with new and existing customers within an assigned territory or market segment.

Here's how you'll make an impact on the team:Initiates contact with customers and builds relationships with key influencers and decision-makers. Engages in questioning, listening, and observation to identify customer needs.Collaborates with customers to plan and forecast sales. Works with management to update territory plans, forecasts, and set sales goals.Takes a consultative approach to sales by proposing product and service solutions that address customer needs while maintaining profitability. Clearly communicates the value of programs and services in resolving customer challenges.Develops a comprehensive understanding of customers within the territory. Conducts research on customer revenue potential, creditworthiness, business focus, current supplier and manufacturer relationships, and other relevant information. Prioritizes accounts and allocates time to the most significant opportunities.Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' offerings. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of new and existing products and inventory through training, studying industry resources, and seeking guidance from knowledgeable sources.Represents the company at trade association meetings, industry events, open houses, or other customer-requested events.Here's what you'll need to be successful in this role:

High school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of proven success in direct sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge of the HVACR wholesale distribution industry and factors that impact profitability.Understanding of HVACR customer business operations and their influence on profit and loss.Strong listening and questioning skills to effectively understand others.Proficiency in delivering professional presentations in person.Skilled in writing professional business proposals.Ability to develop and implement customer expansion strategies.Capability to use data to develop sales forecasts and set goals.Competence in gathering information from various sources, including websites, reports, suppliers, and individuals.Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, rebates, and percentages.Ability to compile and analyze data to create actionable insights.Skill in identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities.Ability to distinguish between high and low-value opportunities.Ability to identify internal stakeholders and delegate tasks to meet customer needs.Ability to maintain and update industry, business, wholesale, sales process, and HVACR technical knowledge.Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage customer information.Professional approach to engaging with new customers.Adaptability in interacting with a variety of personalities.Confidence in navigating negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.Commitment to acting in the company's best interest at all times.Consistently works to support company growth while upholding ethical standards.Maintains a professional appearance.Demonstrates resilience and persistence in the face of challenges.Must hold a valid driver's license.Pay Range:

$72,000 annually + 10% commission on all sales transactions, with an avg of $6500 per month and top at $15,000
