Our team is looking for a full stack software tools engineer to support our Engineering and QA teams within Apple Maps. If you are passionate about the quality of your work, the world around you and would like to make a positive impact on the experience of our Apple Maps customers, please read on!DescriptionOur team is looking for an enthusiastic tools engineer with full-stack development experience to support Engineering and QA teams within Apple Maps. As a member of our team, your goal will be to partner with internal teams of Maps Client organization to help ship exciting features. In this role you will be working with a broad set of front and back end technologies to help tackle interesting challenges within the Maps Client organization.

We embrace a diverse set of responsibilities which includes improving current testing infrastructures and tools for the Maps Client team. You will work closely with the Engineering and QA teams to design and implement new tools which foster continuous improvements both to the quality of our products and processes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking initiative and is comfortable working with multi-functional teams. If you see yourself as a dedicated and proactive full-stack tools engineer with good communication skills and passion to succeed in an exciting and fast-paced environment, you will thrive here.Minimum Qualifications- Proven full-stack development, preferably in Python- Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js and other front-end frameworks such as React, AngularJS- Knowledge of Machine Learning tools and technology- Passionate about product quality and attention to detail regardless of complexity of solution- Excellent troubleshooting and triaging skills- Ability to learn new technologies independently & bring new perspectives to our team.Preferred Qualifications- While the following are not necessary skills, they would be helpful in this role:- Familiarity with Django, Ruby on Rails, or Express- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, Splunk, ElasticSearch and building dashboards- Experienced in web or mobile UI automationPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,909 and $214,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
