Position Summary

Senior Directors represent the pinnacle of consulting success. At Huron, Senior Directors create a high-performance environment, inspiring the respect of clients and engagement teams alike. They model and instill in others Huron values as well as personal commitment and integrity.

Senior Directors serve as engagement leaders, working closely with client senior leaders and directing the Huron team to ensure the overall success of the project. They successfully close new business, deliver sales and industry presentations, participate in negotiations, and close contracts for new work.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Ability to serve as the single accountable leader in the design and delivery of complex performance improvement engagements.

Significant experience managing engagement-wide economics, such as budgets and revenue forecasting.

Proven analytical and critical thinking skills to quantify financial and operational benefits.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to understand client challenges and create customized solutions.

Proven success in building strong executive-level and C-suite relationships.

Strong business development experience using networks to identify new sales opportunities.

Demonstrated experience in leading and designing large matrixed teams.

Relevant hospital operations experience or senior project leadership experience within a consulting firm.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree required.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% and work extended hours as needed.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

10+ years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $215,000 - $265,000. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program and benefit plans.
