As a Program Manager with the Science Mission Directorate, Biological and Physical Sciences Division, you will be responsible for the day-to-day aspects of mission and program implementation. You will ensure fiscal resources are available to run the Announcement of Opportunity, especially by including these resources at relevant PPBE stages. You will work with the other program executives in the division to rapidly advance technologies and pursue opportunities for collaboration and funding. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

Minimum Qualifications

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level:Briefing leadership or oversight entities on strategic and/or operational planning and performance;Collaborating or partnering with a group of stakeholders on projects or programs related to biological and physical sciences commercially enabled rapid space science initiative;Coordinating the Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) process for a program area.

To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level:Managing collaborations or partnerships with a group of stakeholders on a range of projects or programs related to biological and physical sciences commercially enabled rapid space science initiative;Providing strategic management to include strategic planning, program management, program implementation, or performance assessment;Producing high-level analysis and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs or projects performance to ensure strategic goals and objectives are met.
