Learn more at www.voala.org.JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSEThe Program Manager I supervises all efforts to fulfill the goals and objectives of the Program, designing plans and operations according to contract and budget guidelines. This includes overseeing resources, coordinating the efforts of community partners, and conducting ongoing outreach to serve participants and leverage VOALA and community assets.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIntake, assessments, service planning, service delivery, and goal attainmentTraining, supervision, and problem-solving for difficult casesMeeting grant objectives, adhering to grant guidelinesProviding information to the Division Director highlighting progress toward reaching set goalsProviding quality service to clients with rental issuesMonitoring program compliance with VOALA policies and required procedures; maintaining documentation of all program services delivered to participantsMeasuring and assessing the impact of services, supporting, and participating in key elements to the program's successEffectively communicating project expectations to team membersCoordinating outreach and collaboration efforts with community partners and landlordsOther duties as directed to accomplish program goalsQualifications

REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment, and education verificationsEDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in Social Work (or related discipline) or a combination of relevant education and experience (4 years)EXPERIENCE:Minimum of 3 years of experience in Social Services Program Management, Coordination, or SupervisionMinimum of 1 year of direct experience in Staff ManagementPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master of Social Work or discipline related to Program servicesExperience connecting clients to community and government resourcesExperience serving the target community (veterans, homeless, at-risk youth, etc.)Knowledge about community resourcesExperience with HMIS and other relevant databases used by partner service providersAbility to work with people from various backgrounds and/or limited English capabilities
