We focus on finding small to medium-sized park operations where we can make a large difference. We take great pride in acquiring underperforming park concessions, turning them around, and bringing them up to and beyond the expectations of our park partners and park visitors.

This position is a full-time, in office role in our Overland Park, KS corporate office.

Summary of Position:Effectively lead and oversee the strategic direction of the Retail organization to maximize the achievement of the company’s business goals.

Responsibilities:

Lead the retail team and define product assortments while developing tactics with the team of buyers and cross-functional business partners.

Maximize business performance and profitability by executing business plans that maximize sales, margins and inventory turnover.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships within the Retail department, other departments within the company and with all vendors for the benefit of achieving performance metrics.

Develop and drive overall category strategy to deliver on top-down sales targets.

Direct the buying teams to develop product assortments that support the needs of the customer while achieving space efficiency.

Responsible for assortment plans by category and classification.

Review and reconcile monthly financials to ensure the Retail operation is on target.

Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills with the ability to proactively recommend solutions.

Must have financial background with the proven ability to identify opportunities for revenue and fiscal management.

Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.

Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS system functionality.

Knowledge and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in Hospitality, Retail, Business or related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum 10 (ten) years leading a Merchant team. Proven success in surpassing revenue goals.POS experience.
