Director of QualityOne of the premier employers in the Seacoast area is seeking a Director of Quality for their team. This direct-hire role offers true work-life balance, comprehensive benefits, and a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Responsibilities of the Director of QualityServe as a member of the division’s Senior Leadership TeamEstablish/maintain/monitor QMS scorecard and quality KPI metrics relative to the manufacturing site initiativesMaintain an effective QMS system in compliance with ISO9001 and additional quality-related customer requirementsConduct periodic QMS reviews and update upper management on resultsEffectively execute internal and supplier audits; host customer audits as requiredEstablish and maintain relationships with key customer quality representatives to fully understand customers’ quality requirementsWork with management to ensure best practices are shared across the organizationManage external benchmarking activities and maintain awareness of current, best-in-class internal audit practicesDrive improvement in overall team leadership and engagement, ensuring the best team is in place to support growth, while maintaining and improving the cultureMentor and develop direct reports and entire Quality Team; cultivate positive open communication while engaging and encouraging employee suggestions to drive improved qualityQualifications of the Director of QualityMinimum 8-12 years of experience in an ISO manufacturing environment; cable/connectors and/or regulated industries preferredMinimum 7-10 years of supervisory experienceExperience with Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma desiredQuality management/engineering background with ASQ certifications desired, e.g., CQE/CRE/CQM/CQADemonstrated ability to improve quality, cost, and delivery goalsIn-depth problem-solving/root cause analysis and risk analysis (FMEA/FTA)Ability to lead teams and influence decisions based on facts and process thinkingExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skillsWorking knowledge of data management systems and statistical toolsCandidates must be a U.S. citizenPlease share your resume in confidence for this Director of Quality opportunity.
