Develop and articulate a comprehensive product strategy, including direction for product line research and technical planning, aligned with sustainability commitments.Provide technical leadership in the concept, feasibility, development, qualification, and launch phases of product development.Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver innovative paper-based packaging solutions.Coordinate equipment selections and modifications to enhance capabilities in response to market opportunities, including completing capital expenditure proposals.Manage new capability developmental trials in the mill, converting locations, and customer plants, ensuring alignment with technical research and sustainability goals.Define product requirements, performance specifications, and resources needed for successful product development and commercialization.Champion sustainability, safety, and quality throughout the product lifecycle.Establish strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, including OEMs, to support product development and go-to-market strategies.Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and opportunities for sustainability.Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including customers, partners, and executives.Foster collaboration across the global organization to identify technology development opportunities and advance research supporting the business direction.Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and global standards in packaging.What You Need For This Position

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Masters of Science Degree preferred.15+ years of experience in manufacturing and product development is required, focusing on paper and packaging.10+ years of experience leading teams and projects in a product development environment.Extensive knowledge of engineering principles, concepts, applications, and global industry standards.Proven track record of successfully developing and commercializing products, particularly under FSE and Food Service requirements.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience presenting to multidisciplinary audiences and key stakeholders.Experience in leading projects with external design, development, and manufacturing partners.Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.Passion for sustainability and a demonstrated ability to drive environmental impact through innovative packaging solutions.Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% based on project and business needs.Benefits
