1800Flowers.com is seeking a dynamic Senior Payroll Manager to handle all aspects of payroll processing. The Senior Payroll Manager will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day payroll function. This includes ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with relevant regulations, and implementing best practices. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage their expertise to contribute to the overall success of our organization. This role is based in our Jericho, NY Headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Manage multistate payroll processing for approximately 5000 core employees (and 9000 seasonal employees)
Responsible for all payroll related year-end processes (taxable earnings, W2, etc.)
Audit payroll transactions to ensure all amounts and payment dates are accurate
Manage payroll discrepancies quickly and efficiently
Manage payroll department team
Manage department goals and meet established deadlines
Prepare reports for upper management, finance, and other departments
Manage responses to various external payroll audits
Maintenance of personnel files to meet Sox compliance
Administration of employee garnishments and knowledge of 401K administration
Manager ADP Enterprise EV6/Enterprise eTime/ADP Reporting
Work closely with Human Resources Department
Manage various payroll function automation projects and upgrades
Other duties and projects as assigned
The expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
7-10 years experience managing payroll for a large organization across multiple states
Experience with ADP Enterprise platforms
Proficient in MS Excel/Word
Knowledge of current Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations
Detail orientated
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Must be able to work with a minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of M&A activity - acquisitions and divestitures of employees
