Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in an executive management/leadership role, ideally in a rapidly evolving institution, and preferably in Human Services and/or within a Workforce Development organization.

Highly organized with an ability to function effectively in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment. A driving force who manages toward clarity and growth outcomes per the CEO and Board of Directors.

A successful track record of developing organizational strategy, setting priorities, creating project plans, and directing financial resources in the interest of people and systems that sustain organizational growth.

Thorough understanding of project management with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines and goals.

A consummate team player with an innovative and strategic approach.

Excellent communication and coalition-building skills with an ability to balance, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. A high level of knowledge and understanding, especially as it relates to building strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities for new alliances.

The ability to lead and motivate groups and individuals. A strong ability to think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups, internally and externally.

Able to successfully interact with a variety of stakeholders who possess diverse perspectives and multifaceted political interests. Is politically astute. Proven leadership and consensus-building skills. Solid and broad understanding of all aspects of corporate partnerships and community and government relations. Proven negotiation and mediation skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and motivate groups and individuals. Think creatively and strategically to successfully mediate and negotiate with individuals and groups, internally and externally.

Oversee grant compliance.

Prepare for meetings with existing and prospective partnerships, including conducting preparatory research, ensuring materials preparation, and briefing the President/CEO.

Accompany the President/CEO on meetings with prospective partners to establish new partnerships and foster ongoing business development and growth.

Analyze the implications of proposed actions and decisions and their potential impact on internal and external stakeholders and organizational reputation.

Partner with and advise the President/CEO in government relations.

Lead all strategic partnership and business development elements of OIC of South Florida and its associated entities, providing executive leadership over multiple partnerships at any given time.

Oversee functions including grants proposal development and compliance management, contractor management, employer and workforce partnerships, data analysis, social enterprise business strategy and planning, and project management in close partnership with the VP of Programs and program staff.

Ensure grant compliance with all federal, state, and local funding sources and compliance with the requirements of private funding sources.

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
