Associate Attorney

Winget, Spadafora Schwartzberg, LLP, a law firm based in New York City, is actively seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience in litigation practice. The ideal candidate should be licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey and demonstrate expertise in professional liability, securities litigation, labor employment, and insurance broker liability. We are looking for individuals with a focus on civil litigation and a successful history of independently progressing cases towards resolution or trial.Responsibilities:

Drafting legal documents such as pleadings and motions.Assisting in the discovery process, including drafting demands, analyzing responses, and reviewing document productions.Conducting in-depth legal research to provide robust case support.Close collaboration with fellow attorneys and Partners on legal projects and assignments.Regularly handling court appearances and depositions.Providing timely updates on case statuses to clients and carriers.Efficiently organizing and prioritizing workload to meet deadlines.Qualifications:

Must have obtained a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.Must be licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.Should have a background of 1-5 years in litigation.Previous experience in court appearances and depositions is required.Proficient in drafting summary judgment motions and other legal motions.A thorough understanding of federal and state rules of civil procedures is necessary.Compensation:

$90,000 - $130,000 yearly
