Chief Operating Officer

provides leadership and strategic planning for clinical and non-clinical operations of social services, intake, and ancillary departments. This position ensures the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services consistent with the facility's goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administration and management of clinical services and non-clinical operations, as well as the promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment. Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing or a Master's degree in a behavioral health discipline, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required.Experience:

A minimum of five (5) years' experience in the psychiatric/mental health field, with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in advanced clinical/management practice. Leadership experience in a behavioral health hospital setting is required.Additional Requirements:

A strong knowledge of TJC, CMS, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards, as well as all applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing behavioral health care facilities.About Universal Health Services:
