We are responsible for inventing, characterizing, and advancing novel genome editing reagents for a myriad of clinical applications. Our team works cross-functionally within our organization across multiple disease areas and platforms. Our goal is to deliver on the promise of gene editing to patients around the world.Job Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison for one or more editing programs as we progress through pre-clinical studies.Conceive and execute on new therapeutic targets.Work cross functionally across the Gene Editing team with clear and open communication.Maintain detailed documentation of scientific work in an electronic notebook.Deliver data with clear expectations of timelines to multiple teams.Perform R&D on novel assays to bring in new technologies to the broader team.Job Requirements:

Ph.D. in biology or a related field.Additional Skills/Preferences:

0-3+ years of relevant laboratory experience.Strong background in performing and analyzing gene editing experiments with in vitro and in vivo models.Must have experience in primary cell cultures.Must have experience in NGS library preparation, quantification, and QC.Mastery of molecular biology, including RNA/DNA/Protein extraction, PCR, qPCR, ddPCR, protein analysis (WES, JESS, Western Blot, ELISA).Experience with automation is a plus.Experience in Liver biology is a plus.Additional Information:

This role may require up to 10-15% travel for conferences or training. The position is located at 15 Necco ST, Boston MA 02210. Full time (40 hours/week).
