The Client is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Consultant to provide targeted operational go-live support as part of the Epic implementation. The consultant will serve in an advisory role, focusing on optimizing operational productivity, effectiveness, and ensuring that charging and revenue capture quickly return to or exceed baseline levels. The role will involve developing and delivering actionable recommendations, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to track revenue cycle performance post-implementation.Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic guidance and advisory support across revenue cycle operations during the Epic implementation go-live phase.Ensure charging and revenue capture return to baseline levels or improve beyond baseline in Epic.Develop KPIs and dashboards that track charge and revenue performance compared to pre-implementation baselines.Monitor claims released to payers, clearinghouse acceptance rates, and posting of initial remittance files from insurance payers.Track key revenue cycle metrics, including clean payment rates, first statement dates, and first patient payments.Advise on operational productivity and ensure smooth revenue cycle operations post-Epic go-live.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the revenue cycle process and address any issues promptly.Requirements:
Proven experience in revenue cycle operations with a focus on Epic implementations.Strong understanding of charging, revenue capture, and claims management within healthcare settings.Expertise in developing and utilizing KPIs, dashboards, and performance tracking tools to measure revenue cycle effectiveness.Familiarity with payer processes, clearinghouses, and remittance file posting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
