As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the

Chief Program Officer

(CPO) plays a key role in guiding CMCS's mission and organizational success and is instrumental in shaping the future of CMCS's delivery of high-quality services and expanding CMCS's positive impact on our community. The CPO works closely with the Executive Leadership team and leads the strategic direction, management, and evaluation of CMCS service delivery programs, while ensuring service excellence, program sustainability, and growth. Directly supervises program Vice Presidents and Administrative Directors who are in charge of specific program areas in order to increase their capacity to engage, empower, and motivate program staff. Provides strategic guidance and coaching in program management, planning, and implementation for increased effectiveness and accountability.

Requirements:

A minimum of a Master's Degree in relevant field of study.

A minimum of 10 years' senior leadership experience within child welfare, behavioral health, disabilities services, or similar fields.

Additional Requirements:

Strategic, cross-functional thinker with the ability to see the long and short-term tactics to advance the Agency mission.

Proven record of accomplishment of building and managing projects from conception to completion.

Ability to listen and effectively communicate with peers, staff, board, funders, and partners while managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Commitment to collaboration and continuous learning at all levels of the organization.
