Bowers is seeking a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various carpentry tasks and possess strong leadership skills to oversee residential home renovation projects and/or fully custom new homes in the Northern Virginia area (in and around McLean, VA and surrounding areas to include close in Loudon and Fauquier Counties).

Lead Carpenter / Site Manager Job Requirements:
Run one job at a time beginning to end. Feel ownership of the project without all the headaches of being a business owner. Typical work day 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Great blend of hands-on carpentry (30%) and project/client management (70%) -- ONE job at a time. We are looking for exceptional Site Manager, Lead Carpenters with 10+ years of residential remodeling experience. Must be able to provide excellent leadership in managing a remodeling project from demo to punch; look ahead, make calls, manage all trades, perform quality carpentry work or manage carpentry subcontractors and all around be able to create a positive experience for the homeowner/client.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to plan carpentry projects
Perform trim carpentry, cabinet installation, masonry work, and plastering
Conduct construction site tasks as necessary when not subcontracted out
Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters and laborers on-site
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards
Experience
Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar role
Proficiency in blueprint reading and carpentry techniques
Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and methods
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice-to-have skills: Cabinet installation, masonry work, plastering, trim carpentry

$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
