JOB TITLE : Contracts Manager

REQUISITION # : VA-1278-24-HQ

LOCATION : Fairfax, VA

REPORTS TO : SABG Contracts Director

FLSA STATUS : Regular Full-Time Exempt

SUMMARY : SABG is hiring a Contracts Manager to manage all contracts, subcontracts, and support the full life cycle of various contract types and sizes, including IDIQ, T&M, LOE, CP, and FP, up to any dollar threshold. This position shall ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with SABG policies and US Government regulations, including managing contract modifications and funding, subcontract administration, and driving oversight of SABG's compliance controls and policies. This position will work a hybrid schedule, requiring one day a week in the office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.

Administer assigned contracts, including managing modifications, funding requests, and other correspondence with our Government customers.

Assist in source selection, including drafting nondisclosure and teaming agreements.

Support the proposal development team with submission requirements.

Draft, negotiate, and administer subcontracts.

Monitor contract and subcontract funding and administer modifications.

Support program kick-off and the preparation of kick-off packages with guidance from direct management and program team.

Assist in program closeout related contractual obligations (e.g. CFE/GFE, deliverables, open commitments), by completing program assigned actions.

Document contract and subcontract files in compliance with FAR/DFARS regulations and company policies and procedures. Maintain contract and subcontract documents in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Perform risk analyses, identify risks and opportunities, potential impacts, and mitigation plans.

Assist Contracts Director on issues and developments related to assigned contracts and quality management compliance.

Perform other duties and special projects as required.

SUPERVISION : This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : Capable of comprehending contract administration duties to support stakeholder requirements. Has relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of experience working with Federal Government Contracts environment.

Experience in US Government IDIQ type subcontracts and task orders.

Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS/GSA laws, rules, and regulations.

Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing teaming agreements and NDAs.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE :

Experience in pricing/budget management for proposals, contracts, and subcontracts.

Experience supporting ISO, CMMI, CMMC, and other audit/assessment types.

Understanding of compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

COMPUTER SKILLS :

Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

Must have strong proficiency in MS Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on Word and Excel skills.
