Large North Valley company is adding a Senior Tax Accountant to their staff. If you are in public accounting and don't want to do another busy season, this position is for you. Hybrid work schedule with a base salary up to $100K
Responsibilities :Prepare and file separate state income and franchise tax returns, estimates and extensionsPrepare federal and state tax depreciation schedulesReview, research, and respond to various state income tax noticesAssist with preparation of federal tax return workpapersAssist with the quarterly calculation of the income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740 Improve and document procedures and processesPerform income tax research and analysis as neededPerform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
Background Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is requiredMinimum of 3 years relevant work experience in corporate taxation or public accountingExperience with consolidated and multistate corporate income and franchise tax complianceStrong Microsoft Office skills: Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and PowerPointFor immediate consideration email your resume in a Word.Doc to Thyra at thyra@southwestaccountingresources.com
