Day to Day ResponsibilitiesDefine the testing approach for the Rules Engine, encompassing UI, Backend, and Execution testing.Select and implement appropriate testing tools based on project needs.Develop and maintain test plans and test cases.Identify and document software defects.Collaborate with Development and Product teams to ensure clear communication and early defect identification.Lead and mentor the QA team, providing coaching and guidance.Stay up-to-date on the latest QA methodologies and tools.Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Retrospective).Drive continuous improvement in the testing process.Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.Must Haves
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum 7 years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a lead role.Experience in testing financial applications is a plus.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).Experience with Java and JVM environments.Proven ability to define, develop, and implement test strategy, test plans and test cases.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Passion for quality and continuous improvement.Job Requirement
