The Asst Account manager, National Accounts is responsible for driving sales among the applicable account base. This position (in partnership with the Account Manager) will facilitate the planning, execution, and follow-up of seasonal meetings in addition to preparing and analyzing a variety of different departmental reports.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all aspects of assigned account(s) including day-to day-communication, weekly performance reporting, assortment planning, meeting preparation, meeting execution, meeting follow-up and overall growth strategyFacilitate (in partnership with Account Manager) seasonal appointment planning, preparation, execution, and follow-upAudit order files to ensure accuracyPrepare and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly selling reports with actionable insightsAnalyze and report product sell-through and inventory metrics, and partner with Account Manager(s) to suggest re-orders and identify sales opportunitiesIdentify opportunities and challenges within assigned account(s) and partner with Account Manager to create / implement strategies to maximize margin, sell-through, market share, and optimize sales opportunitiesManage and process samples required for applicable account(s)Partner with Sales Operations Team to ensure the fulfillment and on-time delivery of applicable ordersPartner with Product Knowledge Team to identify store-level needs and drive product salesPartner with Marketing Team to coordinate copy and photo asset requirements for applicable account(s)Serve as a product / service expert and learn new product lines, fabrications and featuresServe as an account expert and remain up to date on product trends, store trends, regional trends and growth opportunitiesTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

Strong presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasksProspecting, negotiating, and closing sales transactionsAnalyzing and presenting dataManaging multiple projects, deadlines and prioritiesAbility to travelMS Office applications, emphasis in ExcelExperience with SAP or relevant ERPExperience with Elastic or relevant B2BEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree, preferred3 years of relevant sales, customer service or operations experienceApparel experience, preferred
