Corpay is currently looking to hire a Contract Negotiator within our CLC division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily activities as assigned within the Customer Focus Group (CFG). The purpose of the CFG is to negotiate hotel contracts and drive savings for the CLC customer base. The customer base includes Rail, Trucking, Air, Crew, Retail, and Management type travelers. You will report directly to the Hotel Network Manager.How We WorkAs a Contract Negotiator you will be expected to work in an office environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in Wichita, KSFormal, hands-on trainingRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Completing negotiations on all requests based on CLC policies and proceduresUtilizing decision-making skills to find hotel options that fit client savings guidelinesEffectively communicating with internal clients and contracted hotels via phone and email to ensure consistency with CLC and Corpay policiesIdentifying trends and opportunities for client savings and potential market consolidationPossessing the ability to analyze historical hotel rate and volume history by hotel and market area to ensure competitive pricing structuresExhibiting and utilizing knowledge of the hotel industry and regional markets associated with clientsIdentifying and resolving client and hotel issues dailyResponsible for meeting or exceeding all client savings expectationsCollaborating with internal account management teams and offering long-term solutions to ensure network consolidation for our clientsResponsible for all other duties assigned as neededQualifications & SkillsCollege degree preferred or 1-3 years previous related experiencePrevious hotel/lodging experience and/or training is a plusDemonstrated ability to negotiate successfully with short notice and firm deadlinesDemonstrated ability to problem solve at a high level through critical thinkingDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment and deliver superior service with a high degree of accuracyDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and navigating the internetExcellent personal interaction, communication, and phone skills along with a high degree of initiative, personal responsibility, ownership, and commitment to providing the highest level of customer serviceCorpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
