The

Manager of Strategic Development

is a pivotal role that drives the organization's strategic direction and growth. This individual will be responsible for crafting comprehensive business plans that align with the company's long-term vision, managing the annual budgeting process, and ensuring that strategic initiatives are executed effectively.

A key aspect of this role is the relentless pursuit of continuous improvement. The Manager will evaluate existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity and performance. They will also be tasked with building and enhancing strategic business capabilities, to support the organization's growth and customer engagement strategies.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic foresight, operational acumen, and a growth mindset to the table. They will work closely with cross-functional teams and top collaborators to drive the organization forward, ensuring that the company not only meets but exceeds its strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:Business Planning:

Manage the development and execution of annual business plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.Continuous Improvement / Process Development:

Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process optimization and leading the development of new processes to enhance business efficiency.Build Strategic/Business Capabilities:

Spearhead the development or improvement of key business capabilities, to support the organization's growth and strategic goalsStrategy Responsibilities:

Continuously evaluating and refining the organization's growth strategy.Key Capabilities:

Strategic thinking:

Ability to develop and implement long-term plans to achieve business objectives.Analytical skills:

Ability to analyze market trends and data to identify growth opportunities.Collaboration:

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to drive growth initiatives.Relationship building:

Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.Communication:

Ability to effectively communicate the organization's growth strategy to internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.MBA from a renowned education institution is preferred.Minimum 5 years in strategy, business development, or operational improvement.Minimum of 2-3 years in Retail or CPG environmentConsulting background is a plusBilingual is a plus but not required.Experience with strategic business toolsTravel up to 25%
