Crisis Response Counselor, Full Time Evenings, Baptist

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Crisis Response Counselor to our Behavioral Care Management department at Baptist Jacksonville. This is a Full Time Evenings opportunity. Shift is 12p to 8:30p Monday through Friday with rotating weekends every 4th weekend 7a to 3:30p.As a Crisis Response Counselor at Baptist, you will answer calls 24/7 on the crisis community hotline. Behavioral health screenings, admissions, transfers & providing assistance from crisis counseling to initiate law enforcement wellchecks are amongst some of the duties included in a typical day.As a Crisis Response Counselor, you will be responsible for:Answering and triaging crisis calls on the 24/7 community hotline.Providing appropriate assistance from crisis counseling to initiating law enforcement wellchecks.Facilitating admission transfers from medical floors, EDs, and external facilities to inpatient units.Completing behavioral health screenings on medical floors as needed.This Crisis Response Counselor will be located at Baptist Medical Center.
