Department InformationThe Campus Recreation Complex (CRC) is a 300,659 sq. ft. facility located on Ferst Drive, on the West side of campus. The complex is a unique expansion of the existing swimming and diving venue built for the 1996 Olympic Games. Campus Recreation provides a premier recreation fitness center, aquatic center, recreation fields, and leadership challenge course for the Georgia Tech community. We offer programming that includes Intramural Sports, Club Sports, Fitness Instruction and Classes, and Outdoor Recreation.Job Summary

Oversee operations of the Competitive Sports Program including intramurals and sports clubs. Assists with organization, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of the Program. Responsible for team registrations, facility reservations, CRC summer camps, and Competitive Sports Program risk management. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Students, faculty/staff, Georgia Tech departments, governing bodies, and non-campus entities such as vendors and coaches.This position will typically advise and counsel: Students, student employees, sport-club coaches and student groups.This position will supervise: Oversees work of student employees.Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -Provide guidance, support, and oversight for sport clubs; Provide oversight and implementation of employee payroll policies and proceduresJob Duty 2 -Oversee all aspects of intramural team registration and communications.Job Duty 3 -Oversee facility reservations for intramural games, special events, sport club practices and sport club events.Job Duty 4 -Coordinate day-to-day operations of CRC Summer and Break Camps.Job Duty 5 -Coordinate all aspects of administering the CRC vehicles.Job Duty 6 -Ensure all competitive sports activities are following Georgia Tech and CRC risk management guidelines.Job Duty 7 -Collaborate with Campus Recreation, the Center for Community Health and Wellbeing, and Institute staff on joint efforts.Job Duty 8 -Coordinate and implement training of all sport club officers, specifically training officers.Job Duty 9 -Gather, interpret, and analyze data for continuous improvement.Job Duty 10 -Perform other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications

Educational RequirementsBachelor's Degree in recreation, sports management or equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required QualificationsOvernight travel requports Coorded for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours degree in Sport Administration, Exercise Science or related (due three client shift schedules, project requports Coordements).
