is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented

Network Administrator I

to join our team in the

DMV area.

We have opportunities in the

Washington, DC area

as well as

Northern Virginia and Maryland . If you are looking for an opportunity in any of those locations, we encourage you to apply.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintains connectivity for enterprise network assets to ensure compliance and secure operations on both unclassified and classified networks (e.g., SIPR, NIPR, and JWICS).

Ensure all network switches and routers are operational, properly configured, and compliant with security requirements, such as DISA STIG.

Perform regular maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting of network devices to ensure optimal performance.

Configuring, maintaining, and monitoring of firewalls, intrusion protection, and intrusion detection systems and for network access control and authentication in accordance with ATO requirements, cybersecurity policies, and standards.

Implement necessary security measures to protect specialized systems and networks from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Collaborate with ISSOs and stakeholders in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field.

Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:CCNA-SecurityCySA+GICSPGSECSecurity+ CECNDSSCP

If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required.

If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelor's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications:Relevant industry standard certifications such as Comptia Network+, Cisco/Juniper, or AWS Advanced Networking.

Clearance Requirements:This position requires an active

TS/SCI w/ Polygraph .

Physical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
