Your key role will be to drive growth by developing new and enhancing existing client relationships, lead highly skilled project teams and deliver a first-class customer experience through high profile engagements.Your key responsibilitiesDemonstrate basic to intermediate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts.Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members.Encourage individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the FAAS team.Skills and attributes for successAdvanced written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to lead a team and develop business opportunities.Knowledge of business trends, emerging technical and industry developments.Excellent leadership and project management skills.Able to manage multiple engagements and deadline-driven.To qualify for the role you must haveA Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state.At least 2 years of related work experience in audit field for insurance, banking or asset management industries.The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites.Ideally you'll also haveKnowledge of current market issues in financial services in the US.Experience with FPNA & Reinsurance.What we offerWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.EY accepts applications for this position on an ongoing basis.
