Job DescriptionThe CVS Health, Epic architecture team works on many solutions across all business units supporting our Minute Clinic, Pharmacy, Active Health, Coram, and Accordant. We want you to be a part of our team. We are currently in search of an experienced Solution Architect to lead in the solutioning and estimation of business project requests.
Solutions will include integrations into CVS systems/applications and external vendors platforms. The successful candidate will also help to work with application architects to assure solutions are being adhered to minimize technical debt. You will work very closely with our business operations and product partners to understand project scope and estimate proposed solutions. Job Responsibilities
Work closely with business/product partners and application teams to understand project scope to drive out end-to-end solutions.Create solutions that align to CVS strategic direction by working closely with TAI (Technology Architecture & Innovation).Work with all IT stakeholders to compile estimates from all application teams, ETS resources, and infrastructure/cloud costs.Draw out conceptual and logical solution diagrams using Visio or other diagramming applications.Clearly and regularly communicate with management and project teams.Recommend improvements to existing solutions as necessary.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 75,000Maximum: 167,000Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience working as a Solution Architect.5+ years of experience in EMR/EHR systems and/or similar healthcare industry.Preferred Qualifications
Good knowledge of Epic integration including, but not limited to HL7, FHIR, REST, SOAP, Interconnect, Mirth/NextGen.Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both technical and business.Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.Ability to manage several ongoing projects at a time.Capability to understand complex requirements and provide innovative solutions.Good communication skills.Good organization skills.Clinical knowledge.Pays strong attention to detail.Experience with Cloud (private, public, hybrid), Micro Services, Big Data, .NET technologies.Experience working with healthcare business systems.Experience with waterfall, SAFe agile and/or scrum/XP software development methodologies.EducationBS DegreeBusiness OverviewBring your heart to CVS Health.Every one of us at CVS Health shares a single, clear purpose: Bringing our heart to every moment of your health.
