Your JobKBX Logistics is looking for an Accounts Payable - Freight Auditor whose core responsibility will be to ensure freight invoicing and payment processes are completed in an accurate and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to think economically and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will work with the team to drive process and system improvements in audit.Our TeamThe Freight Audit Team is responsible for delivering reliable, accurate, and timely invoice processing for our internal and external customers. There are anywhere from 4000-6000 carriers supporting the business which we are proactively partnering alongside and actively processing invoices for.What You Will DoAudit blocked freight invoices for all modes - duties including:Resolving rate, fuel, stop, and additional charge issues, etc.Process and log carrier statement bills for dedicated fleets and trailer rentalsManage Auto-Pay Carriers, including the on-boarding, training, and timely problem resolution for these carriersManage carrier aging's - review and resolve open invoices and outstanding balance duesEnsure carrier invoicing is compliant with KBX Logistics contracts and pricing policiesMonitor open loads to reduce the manual accrual for month-endPrepare month-end manual accruals as neededSupport management goals and operations to create real long-term value through audit savingsPrepare monthly intercompany memos as neededAdvise, educate, and coach carriers and customers regarding carrier contracts and freight invoicingCritique processes for better and more efficient way of doing thingsPromote and maintain continuous, positive communication with carriers regarding correct billing procedures to minimize freight exceptionsCommunicate with customers using excellent critical thinking, problem solving and communication skillsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience using Microsoft Excel to create Pivot TablesExperience using Microsoft Excel to create VLOOKUPsExperience in an Accounts Payable, or auditing, or financial administrative roleWhat Will Put You AheadExperience working in the Supply Chain or Logistics or Transportation industryExperience in a role supporting the rail transportation industryDegree in accounting or mathematicsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
