By leveraging KBX's extensive network, Prolog now offers innovative and efficient logistics services that consistently exceed customer expectations.Our TeamAs the Freight Forwarding Pricing Specialist, your role involves supporting our sales and operations teams by sourcing pricing aligned with the company's service offerings (ocean, air, land). Responsibilities include providing quotes to customers, negotiating rates with ocean carriers, airlines, and other vendors, and analyzing market trends in ocean and air freight pricing. You will ensure compliance with FMC regulations and air 3PL business standards. This position requires comprehensive national-level quote and pricing knowledge, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in multiple software applications.What You Will DoAnalyzing and monitoring ocean and air freight pricing data and market trendsCompiling rates for bids, daily quotes, and customer tariff updatesConducting competitive analysis to determine pricing competitivenessPreparing and reviewing pricing proposals for various shipping servicesAssessing cost structures and profit margins to optimize pricing strategiesKeeping abreast of industry regulations and trade dynamics that may impact pricingGenerating reports and providing recommendations to senior management based on pricing analysisEnsuring accurate and up-to-date pricing information is maintained in company systemsSupporting pricing negotiations and contracts with carriers and customersCollecting origin and destination charges to finalize bidsAssisting sales with creative service offerings and drawing in additional services beyond the requestWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Experience in international and domestic sea freight (FCL and LCL) and airfreight pricingExperience creating quotes for carriers and customersExperience negotiating pricing rates with carriers and customersWhat Will Put You AheadAbility to communicate in English and Spanish both written and verbalBachelor's degree in Economics, Logistics, or Supply ChainExperience complying with customs and TSA regulationsExperience working cross-functionally to optimize strategies and support business growthAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
