If you want to tackle complex problems, push limits, and redefine what's possible, you've come to the right place.Sr Software Analyst, TSSWhat You'll Be Working On:As a Sr Software Analyst, you will analyze complex problems associated with client-server technologies and provide technical support expertise throughout the supply chain software implementation. Perform software development for our product throughout the project lifecycle including: design, creation of technical design specs, software development, testing, issues analysis and resolution, and implementation/post implementation support. Perform the initial install of the application, and subsequently train the customer on the install process. 15-20% travel to Customer locations is typical but can be higher during peak periods.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-quality, client-specific enhancements in a timely manner.Analyze and resolve technical issues that arise throughout a customer implementation.Primary activities include enhancement development, testing, issues resolution, implementation, and post implementation support. Any of these activities may require onsite support.Participates in training to enhance skills necessary to be a valuable team member.Assists with practice administrative tasks (time and forecast entry).Understands fundamental concepts and theories.Generally limited knowledge of industry practices and procedures.Gains experience primarily in one product or platform.What We're Looking For:Minimum RequirementsFour-year bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.2+ years of software development or support experience in Java based applications deployed on J2EE application servers.1 year of SQL development experience in Oracle or mySQL RDBMS.Up to 25% travel required.Preferred SkillsIndependent, fast learner, excited about learning latest technologies.Experience with building and supporting cloud-based microservices, event-based systems.Experience with application performance engineering and tuning.Experience with supply chain and retail domain.Committed to diversity and inclusionAt Manhattan, it's about more than just the work.
